Qualification overview:

The Level 2 Certificate in Employability and Personal Development is a qualification aimed at those who are looking into gaining the required skills for them to get employed into any of the following sectors that includes Social Care, Business Administration, Digital Marketing and Sales, Hospitality, Leisure Travel and Tourism, Retail, Warehousing or Construction.

This qualification is also for those who are looking at upskilling their foundational knowledge within their preferred sector or to continue their knowledge development through Further Education.
This qualification consist of mandatory units and optional units which can lead to a progression to completing: Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business Administration, Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration, Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service, Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care, Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills (ITQ). 

Upon completing the qualification you will be gaining the foundation knowledge required to progress into Employment or Further Education, which is an RQF 14 credits course which can be completed in 12weeks. It is Awarding Body certificated and Ofqual recognised.

Course structure 

Entry requirement: There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification however Learners must be at least 19 years or over to be registered into the course.

This qualification is suitable for those who work, or who are looking to work in a school environment.

Method of Assessment: This is a knowledge-based RQF Level 2 qualification where learners will be required to compile an e-portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their learning against each assessment criteria of the qualification.

E-portfolio is assessed by specialist tutor which will need to be witnessed by a competent person in the workplace, learner must be employed in a school or arrange and complete a work experience placement.

Support facility available:
24/7 online access available upon registration, including planned Tutor support.
Online e-learning platform is used to support learner while on the programme.
