The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Employability and Workplace Skills qualification  has been developed to provide learners with a range of knowledge, understanding, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.

Learners are expected to develop a body of knowledge about workplace employment and employability in
the desired sector.
Learners will also develop self-confidence and inter personal skills required for the working environment and employment.
As part of the development expected is to be able to improve communication skills and promote personal effectiveness within the desired job role.
This is a qualification that represents practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to GCE AS/A Levels.
The qualification consists of mandatory units, upon completing the qualification you will be gaining the foundation knowledge required to progress into Employment or Further Education. It is a 60 credits course which can be completed in 12 - 16weeks. This qualification is an Awarding Body certificated and Ofqual recognised foundation programme.

Course structure 

Entry requirement: There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

This qualification is suitable for those who are looking for work, transitioning between sectors or who are looking to further their education.

Method of Assessment: This is an e-portfolio and knowledge-based evidence RQF Level 3 qualification where learners will be required to compile an e-portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their learning against each assessment criteria of the qualification.

E-portfolio is assessed by specialist tutor while making sure that the learning needs requirement of learner if any is fully supported to ensure smooth learning journey and learner completion timely.

All fees paid for the qualification includes e-portfolio allocation, Tutor support, research and support materials, Certificate issue, Learner support if raised and identified, when on instalment plan there is no interest rate charged, upon signing up for the qualification agreed break in learning and qualification can be issued upon request as soon as possibly noticed.

24/7 online access available upon registration to our e-portfolio system, including planned 1-2-1 Tutor support, virtual learning classroom available for teaching and learning.
Online e-learning platform is used to support learner while on the programme.
