Course overview
This qualification also known as SSTLS
is aimed at those who are working, or who are looking to work within the education and teaching sector (schools in particular).
You will develop advanced supporting skills, that includes knowing how to support bilingual children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
It is an RQF 44 credits course which can be completed between 4 to 6 months.SSLTS Knowledge is gained around areas such as children and young person development, safeguarding, promoting positive behaviour, health and safety e.t.c
All fees paid for the qualification includes e-portfolio allocation, Tutor support, research and support materials, Certificate issue, Learner support if raised and identified, when on instalment plan there is no interest rate charged, upon signing up for the qualification agreed break in learning and qualification can be issued upon request as soon as possibly noticed.

Course structure
Entry requirement: for SSTLS
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification however Learners must be at least 19 years or over to be registered into the course.The SSTLS qualification is suitable for those who work, or who are looking to work in a school environment.
Method of Assessment: This is a knowledge and competence-based RQF Level 3 SSTLS qualification, learner’s ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work is mandatory in order to complete the qualification.
E-portfolio is assessed by specialist tutor which will need to be witnessed by a competent person in the workplace, learner must be employed in a school or arrange and complete a work experience placement.
