If you are new to Health and Social care and do not have any care qualification Level 2 is a good level to start from. Upon completing the course you will be gaining the fundamental knowledge needed to help you work as a Carer / Support worker. It is also an RQF 46 credits course completed within 4 to 12 months with opportunity of progressing to level 3Funding and Payment options: DWP and Jobcentre Plus:

- Implement person-centred approaches in care settings.
- Equality and inclusion in care settings.
- Health, safety and well-being in care settings.
- Responsibilities of a care worker.
- Duty of care.
- Safeguarding and protection in care settings.
Entry requirement: There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification however Learners must be at least 19 years or over to be registered into the course.
Method of Assessment: This is a competence-based RQF Level 2 in Health and Social Care qualification learner’s ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work is mandatory in order to complete the qualification. 24/7 online access available upon registration, including planned Tutor support.
Online e-learning platform is used to support learner while on the program.
Tutors are all sector expert with over 30 years experience of working and delivering within the Health and Social Care sector.

- Opportunity to progress into doing the level 3 Diploma in Adult care partway to Generic Health care, Mental Health, Learning Disability Adult, Children or Young People services.

- The knowledge gained after completing this course can be transferred into the Apprenticeship programme of Adult Social Care, although other components of the Apprenticeship programme will need to be completed and passed in other to gain the Apprenticeship qualification .
